The Provincial
Government of Davao del Norte, through the MOOE CY 2013 intends to
apply the sum of Eight Million Seven Hundred Twenty Five Thousand Seven
Hundred Forty Four Pesos and 75/100 (PhP8,725,744.75) being the Approved Budget for the Contract
(ABC) to payments under the contract with Project ID/PR No. 13020554, 13020556 and 13020548. Bids
received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid
opening.
The Provincial Government of Davao del
Norte now invites bids for the Project
by Package, namely:
Package 1 - Maintenance of Jct. Highway
Canatan-Jct. Highway Magatos (4.85 km) and Jct. Highway Magatos-New
Bantayan (7.10 km) Provincial Roads
Package 2 - Maintenance of
Dujali-Tanglaw (3.60 km), Fd. Rd. 3-Kimamon-Luna
(11.76 km) and Fd. Rd. 3-San Jose (4.55 km) Provincial Road Sections
Package 3 - Maintenance of
Kapalong-Mabantao _Florida (12.13 km) and Jct.Highway
Doña Andrea - Capungagan (8.70 km) Provincial Roads
Completion of the Works is required 365 Calendar Days. The description of an eligible bidder is
contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II.
Instructions to Bidders.
Bidding will be conducted through open competitive
bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified
in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA
9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole
proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least seventy five
percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens
of the Philippines.
Interested bidders may obtain further information
from Provincial Government of Davao
del Norte and inspect the
Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8am to 5pm.
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased
by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a
nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents per Package pursuant to
Provincial Ordinance No. 2011-001.

It may also be
downloaded free of charge from the website of the Philippine Government
Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and the website of the Procuring
Entity, provided that bidders shall
pay the fee for the Bidding Documents not later that the submission of
their bids.
The Provincial
Government of Davao Del Norte will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on May 2, 2013
at 9:00 a.m. at the Provincial Administrator’s Conference Room, 2F Capitol Bldg.,
Government Center, Mankilam, Tagum City, Davao del Norte which shall be
open only to all interested parties who have purchased the Bidding
Documents.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or
before May 14, 2013 at 10:00 in the morning at Bids and Awards
Committee (BAC) Office, PGSO, 2nd Floor Provincial Capitol
Building, Government Center, Mankilam, Tagum City. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the
amount stated in ITB Clause 18 and
Bid Securing Declaration pursuant to GPPB Resolution No. 03-2012.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’
representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall
not be accepted.
The
Provincial
Government of Davao del Norte reserves the right to accept or
reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any
time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to
the affected bidder or bidders.
